Introduction To one of the most Powerful Lyricists Ive heard SOUL FOOD

Soul Food.

My music is my name.

I've been rapping since the late 80's, but I got serious about my music in 2000.

The first album I dropped was called 3rd Degree Burns, that was in 98. It moved well enough to make me take this game serious.

From 1999 to 2000 I was heavy on the underground mix-tape circuit. I featured on GunRunnerz, Incyun, laced the sound track for Snitch In New York, and went in on a double disk duo album with Eddie Kane JR aka Snake Eyes.

That's when shit was all good.

The summer of 2000 is when I was supposed to come out. But actually, the summer of 2000 is when I went in.

This is when I learned my first rule of the industry.

The same people that help you climb a tree, are the same people that watch you fall through the branches.

I got up and dusted myself off and got right back to business. From 2001 - 2006 I continued my assault on mixtapes, but it became very clear what I had to do to make a name for myself in this game.

I had to do something that was never done. I had to make a better product. At the end of the day, thats what it's all about. Product. People want the kind of product they can stand by and represent.

It's like Belvie or Grey Goose. When people mention those names, you wanna-be somewhere in that picture. Those products stand on themselves. Thats my product. Un-filtered and unbound by the industry rules of engagement.

My name is my music, my name is my product!! Soul Food.
