It has been said
that P. Austin's music is classic east coast rap with a hint of Kanye West, as featured on
artistdirect.com (05/06).

P. Austin is currently working on his debut album titled "Rock The Beat". While still keeping the
balance between being an independent artist and pushing for a major recording/distribution deal,
it has been said that P. Austin is the key. His music is a cumulative collection of rap history
versus the future of the next generation. Parris Austin is no stranger to performing. He's had the
opportunity to open for major artists such as Nelly, Destiny Child, Mobb Deep, D12, and many
more. There is a list of venues he is currently set to appear at in major hotspots from coast to
coast. Over the years, he has been producing for artists across all the major music spots within
the country. Parris Austin's passion for the art does not only stop at recording or performing. He
has also helped launch an upcoming radio program for unsigned and independent artists/ labels
called "The Treazy Radio Show" (treazyradioshow.com). They've surpassed their 100th episode
with many special features, and still continue to increase their listener audience around the world weekly.

Growing up in New York City, P. Austin experienced pure hip-hop at a young age. He saw the
music business from neighborhood artists, such as Kool G. Rap, Eric B. & Rakim, Salt-N-Pepa,
Kid-N-Play, LL Cool J, and even Kwame. Watching the jams in the parks at night, while the
turntables were plugged into the lamp post, and rappers battled, gave him insight to the culture
that most artist emulate from TV but don't fully understand. Having a close realative who was a
radio disc jockey, so music is in Parris Austin's veins. "I feel like there's a reason why I was there
at the beginning. If this was the Matrix movie, I'm starting to feel like Neo" is what he stated in
Next Level's March '03 magazine issue. Since then, he has achieved large exposure across the
country including websites like the popular American Idol Underground (idolunderground.com).
It is a site affiliated with the hit television series "American Idol". It's where "P" is closely
watched as a popular artist, as he continues to win contests (Weekly On-Demand, Rap
Competition, and March Competition). He was also a Big Push Finalist, also mentioned in
American Idol Magazine Vol. 2 / Issue#4.

With his innovative beats and powerful lyrics, it's apparent that P. Austin is ready to start chasing
the reality of becoming part of the next dynasty. With a fourth quarter mix-tape surfacing and an
early 2008 album release for "Rock The Beat", there could be a new meaning to the saying "The
streets is watching."

Instrumentation
P. It moved well enough to make me take this game serious.

From 1999 to 2000 I was heavy on the underground mix-tape circuit. I featured on GunRunnerz, Incyun, laced the sound track for Snitch In New York, and went in on a double disk duo album with Eddie Kane JR aka Snake Eyes.

That's when shit was all good.

The summer of 2000 is when I was supposed to come out. But actually, the summer of 2000 is when I went in.

This is when I learned my first rule of the industry.

The same people that help you climb a tree, are the same people that watch you fall through the branches.

I got up and dusted myself off and got right back to business. From 2001 - 2006 I continued my assault on mixtapes, but it became very clear what I had to do to make a name for myself in this game.

I had to do something that was never done. I had to make a better product. At the end of the day, thats what it's all about. Product. People want the kind of product they can stand by and represent.

It's like Belvie or Grey Goose. When people mention those names, you wanna-be somewhere in that picture. Those products stand on themselves. Thats my product. Un-filtered and unbound by the industry rules of engagement.

My name is my music, my name is my product!! Born and raised in the streets of Irvington “Krooked I”, New Jersey, the artist known by one syllable, DUN, grew up on the rhymes and metaphors of Rahkim and Big Daddy Kane, inspired by the lyrics and successes of Notorious B.I.G., Dr. Dre and Jay-Z. Since writing his first rhyme in 7th grade, DUN has been on his grind in the studio, mastering his craft since the age of 14 as a freshman at Irvington High School. Now as a matured artist, describing his style as “Old School Renaissance”, DUN is out to reclaim hip hop, bringing back classic, tight lyrical skills, not just a good hook and a hot beat. Since 1996, DUN has been in several talent shows and open mic events, and has distributed 6 studio albums in the Tri-State area. He has been heard on several Against All Odds commercials produced by DJ Ran. Most recently, he can be heard on ESPN Radio, as the theme song artist for several of the station’s jocks, Public Service Announcements aired during regular programming, and has performed live at several ESPN Radio events.

Future…

DUN has a completed a demo available to any record labels interested in hearing more than what is on this website. The video for his first single is due to be out in October 2007, produced by Grove St. Entertainment, co-owed by DUN and Frank P., aka Cut the Check. He will also be performing live at the Spectrum during the Philadelphia Expo on Saturday October 27, 2007. Revered in the underground community as " God's Favorite Rapper," Rahsaan's lyrical abilities, coupled with his impeccable stage presence has made his style likened to another world-renowned Brooklyn MC; Big Daddy Kane. Rahsaan is backed by a powerful production team known as The Marksmen, founded by Fingas, which consists of members such as NEEDLZ, BABY GRAND, both of G-Unit production credit, and a slew of others. Rahsaan was also featured as a spokes model for MECCA USA, in two worldwide ad campaigns alongside Trey Songz, Dave Meyers, and others; He is also a former menswear designer of MECCA where his collections were worn by cast members in HBO's THE WIRE and has acted in commercials for both BET and MTV, along with creating radio promos for Corona . Rahsaan also played a small role in the Rocafella Records film STATE PROPERTY. Rahsaan is a hip-hop child nurtured through the soul of music.
